Supplier Quality Assurance – Swalmen
Information:
VDL Konings, part of VDL Groep, is recruiting for Supplier Quality Assurance in Swalmen for a permanent, 32–40-hour position.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Initiate and deliver supplier improvements to safeguard delivery reliability and product quality, including addressing recurring complaints and improving supplier production processes.
- Set quality conditions and targets, implement and enforce customer requirements, and help develop and approve new suppliers.
- Perform internal and external audits and handle, coordinate and communicate deviations through 8D reports.
YOUR PROFILE
- An HBO diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with industrial manufacturing and engineering projects, production process control and conducting process audits.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean and PDCA improvement methods, and quality tools including 8D, FMEA, SPC, CTQs and Control Plans.
- Understanding of different manufacturing techniques and willingness to travel occasionally.
