VDL Assembly, part of VDL Groep, is recruiting a Quality Engineer in Hapert for a permanent position.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop quality-assurance processes and maintain the quality management system against ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, including preparing, supporting and following up internal and external audits.
• Investigate quality deviations, product problems and customer complaints using 8D, 5 Why, FMEA and Ishikawa; implement corrective and preventive measures and monitor their effectiveness.
• Lead continuous improvement projects with production and engineering to improve product quality, process performance and customer satisfaction.
• Update procedures and work instructions, and coordinate quality matters with customers, suppliers and internal teams.

YOUR PROFILE

• A completed HBO degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
• Several years of experience in manufacturing quality, with knowledge and practical experience of quality systems and ISO standards. Knowledge of ISO 13485 is an advantage.
• Experience with quality and improvement methods such as 8D, FMEA, 5 Why, Lean and/or Six Sigma.
