Quality Director – Hoogeveen

Information:

GKN Aerospace is recruiting a Quality Director for its Hoogeveen site. You lead Quality Assurance and Quality Control, strengthen the quality management system and support strategic site decisions.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define and implement the site quality strategy and coach the quality organisation.
  • Act as AS9100 Management Representative and maintain aerospace and customer compliance.
  • Oversee product quality, conformity and release.
  • Drive Lean, Six Sigma and data-led improvements, with strong PDCA discipline.
  • Manage quality KPIs, audits and risks and engage customers, suppliers and authorities.

YOUR PROFILE

  • A completed technical bachelor’s or master’s degree.
  • At least ten years of quality-management experience and leadership in aerospace or another highly regulated industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of aerospace quality standards and certifications.
  • Lean/Six Sigma experience; Green or Black Belt is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with fluent Dutch and English.
