Neways is recruiting a Production Quality Engineer at its Echt site, combining manufacturing quality improvement with the role of Prevention Officer.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and improve production quality controls, perform inspections including cleanroom work, and analyse quality data for management reporting.
• Investigate customer and supplier complaints, identify root causes with 8D, and implement lasting corrective actions.
• Lead Continuous Improvement projects to reduce non-quality costs, support incoming inspection and embed quality requirements in New Product Introduction (NPI).
• Work with engineering and quality teams as a Manufacturing Performance Team member; serve as Prevention Officer to support a safe, healthy and compliant workplace.

YOUR PROFILE

• An MBO qualification or equivalent working and thinking level, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or another technical discipline. Relevant technical graduates are welcome.
• Manufacturing quality experience is a strong advantage; affinity with electronics or mechanical manufacturing is required.
• Knowledge of 8D, DMAIC and Lean, plus experience using Microsoft Office.
