Maersk is recruiting an Operational Excellence Senior Specialist for Customs operations, with Rotterdam among the available locations. This full-time, site-based role improves performance and develops frontline teams across the NEC Area.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deploy and improve The Maersk Way across Customs operations.
• Use Lean, Kaizen and data-driven problem solving to deliver measurable improvements.
• Set operational standards, performance routines and governance.
• Coach frontline teams and lead cross-functional change.
• Work with Digital and Data teams to make improvements practical and scalable.

YOUR PROFILE

• At least seven years of Customs operations or management experience in logistics or supply chain.
• A strong background in Operational Excellence, Lean or Continuous Improvement, including A3, Kaizen, value stream mapping and daily management.
• Evidence of measurable improvement results and change leadership in a matrix organisation.
• Strong facilitation, coaching and stakeholder-management skills.
• Structured project-management experience, such as PMI or PRINCE2, is an advantage.
