MSD is recruiting an Improvement Officer for the start-up of a new pharmaceutical manufacturing facility at its Animal Health site in Boxmeer. You support the start-up, optimisation and further development of production, connecting people, processes and technology to improve safe and reliable manufacturing.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyse production processes and data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities, and translate root-cause analyses into lasting practical improvements.
• Initiate, coordinate or support operational and technical improvements, including automation, new equipment, manufacturing processes and product transfers.
• Maintain relevant production data in SAP and prepare and coordinate change controls for systems, equipment and processes.
• Work with Maintenance & Reliability to improve equipment performance and maintenance strategies.
• Support digital manufacturing technologies including MES/EBR, OEE+, RTMS and MDH, and help colleagues use production software effectively.
• Review and improve SOPs, protocols, logbooks and work instructions.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects and share knowledge through coaching, training and day-to-day support.

YOUR PROFILE

You may be a good fit if you bring some of the following:

• A completed HBO degree, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Relevant experience in regulated manufacturing, such as pharmaceutical, food, chemical or medical-device production.
• Experience with continuous improvement methods such as Lean and/or Six Sigma.
