Lamb Weston is recruiting a CI Engineer for its factory in Bergen op Zoom. You contribute to factory development, employee development and lasting savings through projects focused on cost reduction, efficiency and sustainability. You report to the Continuous Improvement Manager and join the Continuous Improvement team. This is a full-time day-shift role.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyse process and performance losses, carry out root-cause analyses for operational and quality issues, and initiate improvements based on the main deviations.
• Initiate DMAIC improvement projects with clear quantitative targets and work towards achieving those results.
• Translate the CI strategy and central initiatives into practical improvement actions within the plant.
• Organise and facilitate workshops and training on the practical use of CI methods.
• Guide improvement teams in setting up, executing and sustaining improvement projects.
• Identify and prioritise improvement opportunities based on impact, effort and business case.
• Develop, implement and maintain operational standards and work instructions.
• Monitor improvement initiatives and report on results and opportunities for lasting improvement.

YOUR PROFILE

• At least HBO working and thinking level.
• At least five years of experience in a production environment, preferably in the food industry.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement approaches, methods and applications.
• Experience organising, facilitating and promoting continuous improvement, including building awareness among managers and employees.
