VDL ETG Almelo, part of VDL Groep, is recruiting a Sheet-Metal Operations Manager in Bornerbroek, Almelo. This is a permanent role for 40 hours per week.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead four production leaders and indirectly around 70 operators and engineers, improving safety, quality, delivery reliability, productivity and cost performance.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement methods to deliver measurable improvements and strengthen first-time-right production.
• Maintain stable production planning, investigate operational problems and coordinate Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, Logistics and Maintenance.
• Deliver improvement projects supporting strategic objectives, establish clear standards and develop employee ownership.

YOUR PROFILE

• Experience in sheet-metal operations or a comparable production environment.
• Shop-floor leadership experience, with the ability to coach people, address performance and guide operational change.
• Understanding of production quality, delivery and efficiency, and the ability to improve processes, results and cooperation between teams.
