Neways is recruiting a Manufacturing Quality Engineer for its PCBA production operation in Son.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support production quality, lead root-cause escalations, inspect prototypes and pilot series, and manage material claims and 8D reports.
• Coordinate containment, stock checks and rework; maintain Control Plans, PFMEAs, work instructions and process-parameter monitoring.
• Lead improvement teams, analyse yield, FPY, scrap and PPM, and implement PDCA improvements and incoming/outgoing inspection controls.
• Perform process and QMS audits using relevant VDA 6.3/ISO standards, follow up improvements and facilitate 5W2H problem-solving.

YOUR PROFILE

• A completed technical MBO or HBO qualification, for example Electrical, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
• PCBA process knowledge: printing, placement, reflow/wave soldering and AOI/ICT/FCT; experience with SPC, FMEA, PPAP, MSA and 8D.
• IPC standards knowledge and data analysis using Excel, Minitab or similar tools. IPC-A-610 certification is preferred.
• Preferred: high-mix/low-volume, automotive or medical PCBA experience; Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher; HALT/HASS/thermal cycling; advanced 3D AOI/SPI/AXI.
