Quality Officer – Design for Six Sigma – Eindhoven

Information:

DAF Trucks N.V. is recruiting for Quality Officer – Design for Six Sigma in Eindhoven.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Improve Product Creation Process workflows, document and standardise quality processes, and coach teams in DfSS.
  • Identify process-knowledge gaps and support training in the Product Creation Process, V-model and configuration management.
  • Support DFMEAs, scorecards and supplier signoffs; address process deviations and risks, contribute fact-based reviews and review key deliverables.

YOUR PROFILE

  • A technical bachelor’s or master’s degree and at least five years of relevant experience; automotive or product-development experience is preferred.
  • Experience with structured development processes; familiarity with Product Creation Process deliverables is preferred.
  • A Six Sigma belt certification (Green, DFSS and/or Black Belt) and experience in Six Sigma, Shainin, Lean or other problem-solving methods.
  • Auditing experience and basic knowledge of the DAF Quality Management System are preferred; candidates need not match every requirement perfectly.

This is a full-time position with a 36-hour working week.
