Eli Lilly is looking for a Senior Director Manufacturing Operations for its new manufacturing facility in Katwijk. You lead the development and start-up of manufacturing operations for a highly automated pharmaceutical site.

This senior role combines operational leadership, organisational build-up and Operational Excellence in a regulated manufacturing environment.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop the recruitment, training and start-up strategy for manufacturing operations.
• Build a high-performing organisation aligned with site and corporate objectives.
• Develop operational excellence across process and flow teams.
• Ensure delivery against production plans, staffing, expenses, projects and plant objectives.
• Embed safety, quality and compliance requirements in operational planning.
• Collaborate across functions during site construction, qualification and ramp-up.

YOUR PROFILE

• At least ten years of experience in pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing operations.
• At least five years of management experience.
• Strong knowledge of production, engineering, technical services or supply chain.
• Understanding of GMP documentation, computerised systems and EH&S requirements.
• Strong leadership and team-coordination capabilities.
• Willingness to work on site in Katwijk and travel when required.
