Pentair is looking for a Site Lean Manager for its Venlo location. In this role, you oversee the implementation of the Lean business system and develop systematic measurements that support sustainable operational improvement.

You combine strategic direction with hands-on execution. You work with the Enterprise team, managers and multidisciplinary teams to embed Lean principles throughout the organisation.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Align the site approach with Pentair’s Enterprise Lean team.
• Organise and deliver training in Lean principles, methods and concepts.
• Create current, future and ideal-state value stream maps and identify the eight types of waste.
• Define measurable safety, people, quality, delivery, cost and productivity objectives.
• Build and facilitate short- and long-term multidisciplinary Lean activities.
• Implement improvements and ensure that achieved results are sustained.
• Evaluate automation requirements that support Lean implementation.
• Communicate plans, actions and results using the PDCA cycle.
• Support strategy execution through Hoshin Kanri.
• Facilitate workshops and Kaizen events and promote Lean practices among teams and suppliers.

YOUR PROFILE

• A bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or an equivalent field.
• At least six years of experience implementing Lean Manufacturing in a dedicated Lean role within a project or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with TPS or comparable Lean business-system principles and managerial responsibility.
• Advanced knowledge of Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Standard Work, continuous flow, end-to-end process mapping and root-cause problem solving.
• Strong analytical, communication, change-management, coaching and facilitation skills.
• Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt knowledge and project-management capability are advantageous.
• Willingness to travel to other Pentair businesses and Lean exchange events when required.
