GKN Aerospace is looking for a Lean Deployment Leader for its high-tech aerospace manufacturing site in Hoogeveen. In this temporary full-time role, you help deploy the Lean Operating Model and support the site’s development towards world-class Lean Six Sigma maturity.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Initiate, analyse and lead multiple Continuous Improvement projects with multidisciplinary teams.
• Deliver measurable operational performance improvements.
• Deploy Lean and problem-solving standards, including process mapping, 5S, Daily Management, value stream mapping, A3/DRIVE problem solving and Total Productive Maintenance.
• Train and coach colleagues in Lean methods.
• Guide and monitor Kaizen activities and improvement projects led by group leaders and team leaders.
• Translate strategy into concrete improvement projects and annual plans.
• Prepare and facilitate workshops, improvement events and value stream mapping sessions.
• Challenge and influence leaders while safeguarding the performance of the complete value stream.

YOUR PROFILE

• Experience applying Lean Six Sigma expertise to operational improvement.
• Knowledge of Lean and problem-solving methods, including 5S, Daily Management, value stream mapping and A3/DRIVE.
• The ability to train, coach and engage colleagues in improvement.
• An analytical, proactive and pragmatic approach focused on sustainable results.
